U.S. DOE is now offering an alternative method for busy building owners to join the Smart Energy Analytics Campaign. As we wrote in our previous article, this campaign is designed to promote the use of energy-saving building analytics platforms, also known as energy management information systems, in commercial buildings. DOE says that these platforms can achieve 10-20 percent energy savings in commercial buildings.
One time-saving alternative is for their EMIS vendor or service provider to act as representative and join the building portfolio into the Campaign, with the owner’s email permission.
