Comprehensive Building Analytics

Cimetrics Presentation on Energy Analytics at AEE New England

EVENT INFORMATION

December 2020 – Energy Management Analytics
Wednesday, December 2nd at 4:30PM – Zoom Meeting

Data is the new oil when it comes to energy management in a virtual world, and feedback has shown that building owners and operators that had a successful building data analytics program in place were better positioned to handle the new challenges of the pandemic era. What is data analytics and why is it now more important than ever?

Remote building analytics, when effectively deployed, provide targeted recommendations that streamline issue resolution, limit staff contact, and aid to verify issue correction and equipment performance. Data analysis enables quantified comparisons of the financial, environmental, and operational impacts of COVID risk mitigation strategies to facilitate decision-making.

Building analytics further affords its users nearly limitless opportunities to track performance relative to energy and compliance goals, substantiate capital projects, improve occupant comfort and equipment reliability, and ensure optimal equipment operation to offset big-ticket risk mitigation measures.

This presentation will cover important considerations when evaluating available analytics solutions, discuss the challenges of configuring an automated building analytics system, and showcase the Cimetrics Analytika approach to remote monitoring, commissioning, and M&V.
